Small Group Ministry
If you would be interested in joining a new Wednesday evening small group this Fall, please look over the list below to see what is available. Signing up for a small group is a commitment. It is our desire to have each small group a place where the study of God's Word is vital, as well as a place where we can share our lives with other believers in a committed fellowship. If you have any general questions about the small group ministry at MBC, please contact Pastor Eric. For any questions about a specific small group, please contact the leader of that particular group. The online sign up is at the bottom of this page.
New Wednesday Evening Small Groups
Four groups will be starting up in September.
A Study of Nehemiah: "Nehemiah, the right leader for the task at hand." Our country is desperate for good leadership and Nehemiah provides a classic example of what that looks like. Open to both men and women. This small group will begin on September 7th. If you have any questions, please contact Bill Snyder.
Adopted for Life - book study of Russel Moore's book: So you are too old to adopt? This book is for you. Not married? This book is for you. Already have four kids? This book is for you. Interested in growing your family through adoption? This book is for you. "Adoption is, on the one hand, gospel. In this, adoption tells us who we are as children of the Father...Adoption is also defined as mission. In this, adoption tells us our purpose in this age as the people of Christ." This small group will begin on September 7th. If you have any questions, please contact Rob Decker.
Prayer Meeting: We begin our group by singing a few songs followed by an opportunity to share testimonies. We then have a devotional time or discussion of a subject and then share prayer requests concluding with prayer. The subject we will be discussing this fall is, "The believer and the present culture." This group will begin on September 7th. If you have any questions, please contact Paul Habecker.
Ladies Life Links: Beginning on Wednesday, Sept 7, our hope is to gather ladies of all ages (young adult through senior adults) for encouragement through prayer, the Word, life stories, and intentional care for one another. If you are not yet plugged in elsewhere, please consider joining this opportunity for ladies to ladies ministry. We desire to cultivate our love for God as we walk "arm in arm" with each other meaningfully linked with those of various ages and like faith. If you have any questions, please contact Sharon Mylin.
