Small Group Ministry

If you would be interested in joining a new Wednesday evening small group this Fall, please look over the list below to see what is available. Signing up for a small group is a commitment. It is our desire to have each small group a place where the study of God's Word is vital, as well as a place where we can share our lives with other believers in a committed fellowship. If you have any general questions about the small group ministry at MBC, please contact Pastor Eric. For any questions about a specific small group, please contact the leader of that particular group. The online sign up is at the bottom of this page.

New Wednesday Evening Small Groups

Four groups will be starting up in September.

Majoring on the Minor Prophets
Why are they "minor"? Is it because they are not as tall as the other prophets? Maybe what they have to say is less important than other prophets. This small group will continue in the Old Testament series, this year looking at the Minor Prophets. Please contact Bill Snyder if you would like to join the study.

Idols of the Heart (Women's Study)
The ladies study this year will focus on growth in relationships, both to the Lord and each other, as we study and pray together. Our book for the year is called Idols of the Heart. It will help us to take a hard look at our hearts and identify the idols we are harboring in the Lord's place. We will also be spending time in prayer, glorifying the Lord, praying for our fellow ladies, and praying for church and world concerns. This group is open to all women who would like to join. This study will be led by Shawna Henry.

Prayer Meeting: We begin our group by singing a few songs followed by an opportunity to share testimonies. We then have a devotional time or discussion of a subject and then share prayer requests concluding with prayer. This group will begin on September 4th. If you have any questions, please contact the church office.

Self-Confrontation Study: The Self-Confrontation manual is designed with two purposes in mind: to help you experience victory and contentment in all of life's trials and problems by approaching relationships and circumstances from a Biblical perspective, and to prepare you to help others face, deal with, and endure their problems Biblically. Each lesson is designed, first, to explain the meaning of the specific Biblical principles, and then to incorporate them into your life through practical homework assignments. This group will begin on September 4th. If you have any questions, please contact Todd McAllister.
