Senior Adults Class
Our Senior Adults Class, led by Pastor Paul, is a closely-knit group that has been blessed through our mutual service as well as sharing special times together. The Sunday morning class time is our primary meeting time and consists of singing and sharing praise testimonies, praying for specific concerns, and the teaching of God's Word. Pastor Paul shepherds the seniors and regularly teaches the class. Other class members teach on occasions as well. Our class numbers about 63 members.
Besides our Sunday school class time, we also enjoy special occasions of fellowship through the year. Some of these times include a picnic in June, soup and salad luncheons after church, and some trips to Sandy Cove Conference for Seniors Day. We also divide the class for smaller gatherings of fellowship as well. Some of the activities we enjoy are singing the old hymns, playing games, eating refreshments, devotional and prayer times, and conversation together.
We desire to be a blessing through our mutual service. We seek to support those in difficult circumstances, to encourage and build up one another in Christ, and to pray for each other; that we all might grow together in Christ and exemplify Christ in our lives.
Our theme verse is Romans 12:12, "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer."
If you have any questions about our class, please do not hesitate to email Pastor Paul. He will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
